My new home wishlist includes:

I'm looking to share a house, duplex or townhouse in good condition in the San Rafael area. My tastes & needs are relatively simple. I don't care about a view, extra amenities, pool or anything else fancy. (I'm pretty utilitarian.)

I need a new home before August 1, 2015

• Reasonably low rent.
  
• One or two compatible roommates, responsible, considerate, easy-going, clean, & quiet.
  
• A landlord that appreciates their tenants, & is pleasurable to deal with.
  
• I like animals, but I do not have any at this time. I'm open to quiet, well-behaved pets.
  
• Sunny/light.
  
• Quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors.
  
• Good "working" kitchen (large shared refrigerator, plenty of cabinets & counter space).
  
• Shower.
  
• High speed Internet & "digital starter" cable TV (expanded basic).
  
• Reasonable utilities, or included with rent.
  
• Good cross ventilation (prefer insulated home).
  
• Laundry on site.
  
• Ample, easy parking.
  
• Small patio or yard for hanging out, BBQing.
  
• Some secure storage preferred.

NOTE: I have a small home office (~50 sq ft currently in my 150 sq ft bedroom, but would be OK with this tucked somewhere else in the home).

I'm mature, friendly, considerate, respectful, easy-going, helpful, quiet & peaceful. ...With a sometimes quirky sense of humor.

I do not smoke or do drugs. I very rarely drink.

I keep common areas clean & neat.

I communicate with & am considerate to roommates & their guests.

I'm well traveled, educated, spiritual, intelligent, with wide interests.

I'm a Marin resident for over 43 years, & well established in the community.

I've been a member of Unity In Marin for over 9 years, & the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce for 23 years. I've been in leadership in both.

I was a Marin homeowner for 11 years (lost, in part, due to divorce).

I'm a business consultant, educator, non-profit board member, etc.

I'm out miscellaneous hours during the week, & currently gone long hours on the weekend.

I am an omnivore.

I often watch TV in my room, listen to music, work on my computer, etc.

I rarely have guests.

If desired/needed, I have some furniture, kitchenware & a Weber Kettle BBQ I can contribute.

I'm handy, so I can do simple repairs, if needed.
